I got some pictures of Buddha in the garden last night and tonight. He's just pure awesomeness. Here's the two better ones. Most where crap to be honest due to being taken on my phone, going to dig out my camera throughout the week.

Sorry about size.

Here he are cleaning himself. They spit out this crazy foam that they lick over they're spikes to kill mites when they feel them. Look at his paw of brilliance as well. It's adorable.

Rathergood, meet Buddha. Buddha is a massive hedgehog who's about 18 months old who arrived today. The worker who brought him over originally picked out the name Jesus from our list (you can see several of the names in the back), but after seeing him we decided he's to big to be Jesus so renamed him. :)

WOW! Buddha is huge! Magoo is an 11 y/o English Bulldog.

Introducing Huxley T. Kitten, a very small cat that was fished out of a wheel well by one of my co workers at work yesterday, then promptly abandoned by the lady who owned the car.

Yetsch, he is very cute and his(we think) eyes are still blue, I think they will stay blue, as he seems to have quite a bit of Siamese in him. He is very loverrly.

The first picture is my mates brother and her Rottweiler, Mia, when she got her 5 months ago. The bottom piccy is that same dog earlier tonight. She's a beautiful dog, but can't half be a moody cunt.

I'm not sure what is scarier, a Rottweiler about to rip my arm off or a Rottweiler thinking it's in a porno shoot...

Y'know, I can honestly say I've never met a violent Rottweiler. And the vast majority I've met have a brilliant playful temperament. A 5 year old girl regularly punches and screams in the face of that one and she just sits there with a "is that supposed to hurt?" look on her face before flopping her tongue out and smiling. They really are the most misunderstood dogs after pitbulls. :(

I guess so. That reminds me of skunks, I want one when I'm older but whenever I mention it people are just like, "What!?". They are very affectionate and very quiet, though they like to play too.

Hehe, I've got something similar for pigs. But instead of when I'm older just whenever I get my own place. They're just as smart as Labradors and can be house trained. Been bugging my parents for one since I was about 5 and never been allowed one for some reason. :P

I am with you 100% NLT about pigs. My gran had one and it would come in and bask in front of the open fire. When my son was about four and we were both at a farmyard touchy feely sort of place he got chased by a pig that escaped. Poor lad is probably harmed for life but the sight of a small silhouetted figure (sun was going down) running for dear life, pursued by a huge porkenstein was truly hysterical I went for a brisk stroll ont moors yeaterday found this micro froglette which I hope will appear in this posting. I know its not strictly a 'pet' but it was my friend for a spell (of time)Image

Is the species native to your area? Or an exotic species kept as a pet?

Nay not a pet Trix. Tis a species local t't moors 'roundabouts. There are some other very strange almost golden frogs around here as well! I shall try and secure a piccy of one. The strange colouration MAY be to do with the fact that we are not far from Penistone and the mining there had many strange side effects

Don't get a chicken, you'll end up with bird flu. Or is that what happened to your partner?
