You are very, very new, but also very welcome! Spambots are usually ubiquitous on this forumn. The more we use it, the worse they are.

So ( and I'm sorry to butt in here ) I feel that this use ( or abuse? ) of brackets is actually rather fantastic. ( Indeed! )

On another note...

( ERROR, ERROR )

Thank you. Please get your story straight in the future - as a result, you've caused me to ponder whether or not I'm supposed to be excited by your admittance to masturbation.

edit : unless you're a lesbian, of course. Though that just makes me wonder as to who the three eyed gentleman in your profile picture is?

Me Buckety One,
I wish I could show you some of the manuscript I am proofing at the moment. It's astounding how the use of brackets can be used to butcher the English language. After chapter two, I decided that I would never tire of slapping the author. I am now on chapter 5 and am still partial to the sentiment.

I AM the three eyed gentlewoman/man/alien ( You are SO under-educated with the trans genus/species/gender thing ) and I would be a lesbian ( if I was a (PROPER) woman, but I'm not), I'd be gay if I was a real man, and I would be alienexual (if I was a pure Alien,) but alas ( I'm none )

EVERYBODY MASTURBATES at some point during their lives( It's natural) although most don't like to admit it, but DO IT ( It's good for you)

Sorry for the over-use of brackets, ( but I like them <A lot>), ( Hyphons are good too )-(sometimes)/ and these new-fangled /forward slash things
lots of love to all, Zebbor(the part man/woman/alien ,bracket and hyphon AND forward slash liker ) TTPFN (and them arrow things I used earlier )

Many thanks Trix, you have given me hope, in the belief of human kindness. ( When I first entered this forum I felt quite alienated) and as you have said I am very very new, Thanks for the support, lots of love to everyone Zebbor.

Most of what's been posted in this topic is off topic. And it all just based on a misunderstanding. I've known merman for quite some time now and also met him in person a few times. He is the last person who would pick on/purposely insult someone. So thank you for being of-topic cos we don't want to go back to that other topic. (and yes.... i know.. i brought it up again. But i really thought this needed saying.)

Relevence is not a necessity, or even a subject that anybody should take too seriously,as relevence is irrelevent, most of the time ( note the lack of brackets etc.)( Though I do like them)
Love , kisses and ( That IS me in the picture left of stage,in my entirity, ie.no legs etc. or body) and the beard bit that fooled people into thinking I was a man, is actually my #########)
love and whatever you like to all genders or species, I love you all whether I know you or not, happy oglings, ZEBBOR ( commas are pretty good too)

What we need is an OFF TOPIC thread where any one of us can say something which is as off topic as possible with regard to the previous post,
If you like the idea say "AYE" in response, If not say "NAE", Might be fun ( should I or not )

Who is DDDDYYYY referring to, if he is a spambot and is removed then this comment will make no sense either.
Spambot sounds like something that should actually exist, like a robot made of lovely spam, or something from a sixties sci-fi theme, made of spam ( which was popular in those days)
I love spam in tins, not the computer spam that tastes of nothing and is lacking in any nutritional value, and just gets on yer t##s, but the lovely re-constituted meaty spam thats dead expensive.
I would put the Monty-Python SPAM song on here but I dont know how.

Admittance to masturbation is a brave statement whoever you are ,you should be excited regardless, hands up if any of you have ever done it ( I have )
DDDDYYYY is actually ON topic but good show for supporting the concept.

ddddyyyy *IS* a spambot, but the script is written to make it look like it's a real person making a supportive comment..

I didn't know they could do that, and WHY?

I could post a lengthy answer telling you why they do and how it (should) help, but instead I'll just say it's for SEO/Search Engine Optimisation purposes and leave it there.

I say should because if they did this on a blog or forum with any strength it would give them some. But this forum is pretty weak and won't pass anything on.

I wish I had never asked, I'm even more confused now, I know what a search engine is but me being me, I keep getting this weird picture in my head of a horrible oily multi-cylinder, gas guzzling monster zooming round, frantically looking for something, leaving terror and carnage in its wake, a bit like a terminator only constantly belching poisonous gases and much, much dirtier and nastier. (Shudder)
Weird how spambots sound like lovely little robots made of spam, but are actually not that nice, when search engines sound terrifying and horribly unstoppable but are really very useful.
Are spambots employed by search engines to further their success? ( forget I asked that )
I think the dosage of my imagination suppressant pills needs upping some.
Or maybe I should just move house to somewhere upwind of the local Police incineration facility.

Some spam messages are targeted towards readers and can involve techniques of target marketing or even phishing, making it hard to tell real posts from the bot generated ones. Not all of the spam posts are meant for the readers; some spam messages are simply hyperlinks intended to boost search engine ranking.

Link

This means they either want to sell you something or steal your password when you click the link. Or they put the link there so their website will appear on the first page of results given by search engines. So the busier a forum or blog you posted your spam message on the more useful it would be.

So if you come across a new member with an odd username and the message seems a bit random or strange (for a first post, like in this case) or they post the same thing in several threads with one or more links in the message, just ingore it and don't click the links.
