Saw it yesterday. :D
I liked but, but in true nerd form Mr Me had a gripe about them calling worm holes black holes. I think it's sad the producers think that kids today don't know the difference between the two. Maybe most of them don't. We have a drop out rate of 50% in the us for our high schoolers.

I didn't even realise they called the worm hole a black hole. :P My second viewing has been put on hold because friends have WoW addiction and won't leave the house. :(

Not so much at the cinema, but I finally got around to watching Fanboys yesterday and it was simply brilliant. Something every Star Wars fan will have to watch sooner rather than later. Just a shame it's not getting a UK release. :( It's one film I have to pay for though so going to have to import a copy.

I'm guessing through the wonders of the webosphere. I wanted to see Star Trek at the weekend, but it was only on in Chinese. How gay.

Anyone who liked Donnie Darko, DO NOT WATCH S.DARKO. It's hairy bollocks like.

Finally something visual that's officially released for Inglorious Basterds, and what a poster this one is. :D

Two more here.

edit: And somehow I missed this trailer a little over a week ago;

"Each and every man under my command owes me 100 Nazi scalps...and I want my scalps."
Can a Jew be more hardcore?

Film of the year. Nearest to contest is Star Trek so far, but this pretty much pwned it.

Though District 9 is looking interesting, and I still haven't seen Public Enemies. :(

District 9 was in profit after the first 72 hours. I've not seen it yet, but i think that has to be film of the year.
They schooled Hollywood on how to make money, and give people a somewhat original story, yet tying in to the mainstream physche.

Yay!

Just back from the cinema watching inglourious basterds. Simply brilliant! Alone the morriconesque version of für elise in the first scene is pure win.

How fucking awesome is Christoph Waltz? Col Hans Lander has to be one of Tarantino's best characters so far. He even better when you know his son's a Rabbi. He deserves that Best Actor Award he got at Cannes and I would be surprised if he doesn't at least get Best Actor nomination for the Oscars.

Did know District 9 profited that quickly, and it's still not out here. :( Though neither is "Up", not coming out until October. Downloaded it a while back, though I still haven't got around to watching it yet.

Inglourious Basterds is one of the best films I've seen in a loooong while. Absolute genius. Almost cried laughing at Brad Pitt's Italian.... "Arriverduuuurchey", "Gratzay"... So clever.

Lander was a true villian too, I actually audibly gasped when he ordered Shoshanna/Emmanuelle a glass of milk....

LOVED IT!

Zombieland.

Fucking awesome film and best Zombie movie ever. Seriously, I love Zombies but nothing comes close to this. Though saying that most zombie flicks are pretty dire.
