I was indeed referring specifically to a kidney.

Live surgery. It's hard to pose a risk to someone who's already snuffed it.

well by the NHS definition an organ donor is someone who is willing to donate their organs after their death. a Living organ donor is something totally different. well, apart from the basic giving of an organ..

The NHS don't make that distinction, but living donation is pretty uncommon, since most needed organs are somewhat vital... They also have a whole page specifically for living kidney donation;

well i registered to be an organ donor today and there's an entirely different process you have to go through to be a living donator, so.. they kinda do, but nevermind.

I know how that goes, I got my first one 11 years ago and it's still my only one.

I got my first one 10 years ago, at 16. Probably the only rebellious thing I did, except I wasn't even really rebelling, cos my mum took me to get it...
Next one was after Eleni was born.

I'm getting another one soon, as soon as I can afford it and I can decide where to have it... I'm getting the little pink fairy off the Queen logo. It'll have so many meanings. I love Queen, my name means Queen of the Fairies and my Dad loved Queen too. He wasn't a fairy though.

Technically not the last thing I bought, but since I'm drawing one of the blue patterned ones right now instead of sleeping -

tea cups! :D

well, 4 cups/sauces and an almost complete tea set - just missing a bread and butter plate. no chips or anything, £4.something from a charity shop on plungington. Bargainous!

The actual last thing I bought was milk, very boring.

Teacup fetishist.

Other than food shoppings, the last thing I bought was a nice shiny new machine;

3Ghz i7, 8Gb RAM at 1600Mhz, and 2x1Gb 9800 GTs. That'll show UnrealEd who's boss...

i just spent 4 hours and £55 at asda. i would like to point out that it's my flatmate that took most of the time, i could have been done on my own in under an hour, how can he take so long??

still, i would've just been here getting bored so it's not so bad. my favourite buy, chapatti atta, for making and having with my curries, om!

Four cans of Carling at an atrocious £14, a rather nice meal for two in a little restaurant at one in the morning, and a train ticket home.

fun times :D
