i'm meant to be buying a big ruler for graphics now that we're doing grid systems and shit... but it's like £11 for a 100cm rule and £6 for 60cm, i think that's a bit much for a piece of marked metal!

last thing i bought should be on it's way... ordered some shopping from asda.com, heavy stuff like cans and fruit juice that i can't carry on my own. delivery time was supposed to be 1pm - 3pm... now it's 14.49, hmmm...

£200 on new glasses!!! All because my damned prescription is -5.00 in my right eye and -7.00 in my left and my contact lenses have ran out cos I couldn't afford to pay my subscription before Xmas and Leni broke my spare glasses and my last left contact lens is irritating my eye and because my prescription went out of date 2 days ago, I can't buy a spare set of lenses from Asda, so I had to have a whole new sight test and contact lens check where he told me I'm wearing them too long so blood vessels are growing in my eye where they shouldn't be so I am now allowed to wear them 10 hrs a day, 6 days a week maximum, so I need new glasses and to prevent new glasses looking like the bottoms of jam jars, I have to pay £110 to get them thinned!!!

I last bought a pair of £250 glasses from Vision Express (this is including £100 worth in NHS discounts) because I'm -6.00 in my left eye and -5.75 in my right, with -0.5 and -0.75 astigmatisms respectively. Screw high prescriptions. I found this company through Twitter called Glasses Direct, and got a cheap pair of £25 glasses from them. Can't really buy my main glasses from them, though, because Vision Express will notice when I go in for my eye test. >.>
