yes like poisoned cake, except he is also able to shred your skin with his spiky feet. I'm not sure how you'd modify a cake to give it that ability.

Hmm, could be difficult. Adding a quantity of sharp objects to the icing would do it, but people don't tend to stroke cakes....

i guess you'd have to put robot arms inside the cake with claws on them, and a proximitysensor, so that if anyone tried to pick up the cake the robot claw arms would whizz out, shred the skin and rettract, all in the blink of an eye.

that would be a pretty good Monster Truck simulator

For extra veracity you should leave it on the stairs in the dark waiting to get you.
