Not being one for tradition I watched Rare Exports the other day after finally finding out the title. I saw a review on it last year then promptly forgot the name and couldn't remember it. I have to say, it's the most original Christmas movies I've seen with some awesome and surprising twists.

What's everyone else doing to get in the mood? :)

Same as always, grabbing Mulled Wine wherever it's freely available to take the edge off....

Luckily my family boycotts the whole Christmas thing... So what I'll do is go down to the bottleo and get some cheap beers and have a nice, jolly day filled with lots of loud music... So really, just another day!

I'll be avoiding christmas entirely by being in a country that has little concept of christmas (Cambodia).

Christmas mood being slightly irritated by the whole over rated thing? I'm cooking for 14 or thereabouts on Christmas day and working up until Christmas Eve so will have to battle the crowds to buy stupid amounts of food so we can all over eat and then feel bad about it afterwards and then feel poor. Meh!

I enjoy it really.

Hmm, yes. We'd favour photos of this festively finicky funsized furry friend of the feline variety.

Going to my sister's this Crimbo. Hoping yet again that I can tear my fifteen year old niece from her iPod or texting and have a remotely meaningful conversation with her.

Indeed, that's why Doctor Onion perscribes a healthy dose of movies in which Santa tortures bad children and Fairytale of New York. Take twice a day and you should be able to tolerate December. ;)

I just bought a miniature egg shaped thing you can excavate a Dinosaur toy from for 79p in Home Bargains as part of a friends Christmas present. It's awesome, I'm tempted to go back and buy one for myself.

Imma getting all over that! :D

Ultimate reverse Christmassy feeling - writing an essay on perceptions of mental health in society and the relationship between them and architecture/design.....and it's due in tomorrow. :/

Writing an essay too on how much PR manipulates the media.
That being said, I'm going to be in the Netherlands over Christmas.

I have two trees up - one small one with all my expensive, fancy bird decorations on, and one that I let Simon do, because he was bitching about not being allowed to do the tree, and two minutes in was whining about it being 'so hard' to do well whilst begging for help. Which of course I ignored.

Was the office christmas party yesterday, organised by me so of course it was fabulous, and off to a family do now so feeling very festive. Might go for a lovely walk after our lunch today on this gloriously cold and sunny day and nab a bit of wild mistletoe if I'm lucky.

I am so happy! Chrismas Day is coming. On December 25, people all over the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Some people celebrate by giving gifts. Children may be thanking Santa Claus for new toys. They may also be going to church with their families. Christmas has so many traditions and symbols associated with it(acrylic tapes), that it's hard to determine exactly how it came to be the celebration it is today.
I hope I will get more and more chrismas gifts. At last merry chrismas to everyone in the world,
