Here's LMLYUT. I've been doing FDOTD, but sibelius shut down while i was doing it, and i lost the sax solo, and i can't be bothered to write it all out again. I'll probably finish that off later

Ahhh... starts on middle c sharp - ends on high c sharp - the bit in between ahh, fluctuates sometimes... depends on how many beers I had before I got on stage... ;o)

Honestly, I'd just drink a few pints and then make something up.

*rolls on floor laughing* I'm guessing that after a few pints the picture I drew was a little more accurate?

I would Mr. Ed but I'm only fifteen so beer is hard to come by :( and I've got more chance of pissing liquid gold than figuring out them amazing solos plus I need them written out in sheet music please since I'm hoping to play FDOTD as my GCSE ensemble piece. Anyway, hope to hear soon from anyone with the FDOTD sax/trumpet solos.

O.k., if you're doing it for GCSE music, then i'll do it faster, i just couldn't be arsed, cos' the first time i did it, sibelius closed down, ruining all my (unsaved) work. Got work to do tonight, but possibly tomorrow :D

 i can just imagine the look on the examiner's face seeing a bunch of 15 and 16-year-olds belting out a song about getting pissed :D

note to self: must collect all this stuff and get back into practice with the ol' Roland E-15
second note: also get the piano bits for Don't Stop Me Now by Queen and learn it well enough by rote to sing over the top, because that's a fucking showstopper if you can pull that out in a depressing lull at a drab family christmas.

PS Sibelius is, scuse language, fucking chronic. (Are you still having to use it on a creaky Acorn Archimedes kept alive simply for that purpose, too?)... see if you can find something, anything better; i'm sure i've got something better even for the old midi-tastic S.T. that you could access and screenshot using an emulator..

Yeh, sibelius is bad, but i've been using it for so long now, that i know all the shortcuts, and ways to do things a lot faster.
My band started doing a cover of don't stop me now, and i wrote out the piano music for my friend. If he still has it, i might be able to photo copy it, and give it to you. It's not the same as the original, cos' i made it easier for him to play, but it's good enough!!

It says alto saxophone and the actual solo is played on a tenor saxophone. have you accidently picked the wrong saxophone or have you actually written it for alto?

I don't play the sax at all, but the sax machine in my band plays alto, so i wrote the part out for that. also, the i didn't transpose that one. I'll make the changes for ya!

In the sax solo at bars 7 and 8, alto saxs cant go below the B flat (the B below the 1st extra stave line under the stave) so something has gone a bit wrong lol. The rest seems fine to me though.

O.k. It didn't come up with the red notes on sibelius when i typed it in. Anyway, that bit's not perfectly right, cos' chaynsaw goes quite quiet, so it's hard to work out what he's playing, so i just put in a bluesy scale, and it sounded fine
