I STILL haven't been paid anything since the beginning of March, so we're getting pretty tight on the old money front.

Went to Makro last Tuesday and got some Coke, Fanta, milk, paper towels, and stuff like that there. Some permanent markers and correction fluid. A couple of clockwork torches for emergencies (one for home, one for car). Some stuff to feed the grass with. An industrial-size treacle sponge.

And a new laundry hamper to replace the one Colin fell into and broke. It's a very very nice new hamper.

Apple tea from our Turkish cafe is delicious too, but I'm sure it's just warm apple juice...and pineapple juice is the bollocks. Its one of the best juices around, methinks.

I love Bloody Mary's too- but it needs to be peppery and tabascoey and have a stick of celery. Virgin Mary is definintly drinkable, again, the peppery the better.

I got a hankering for some red wine, so I just got me some and I'm steadily working my way through it as we speak. The amount of wine I drink will be easy to determine by the steady decline in my spelling and the fact that most of my posts wont make much sense. :D

That is a very good barometer for figuring out the amount I've had to drink when I wake up with a headache.

So does not drinking at all, but where's the fun in that? I'm usually really good about not drinking so much that it affects my life and the things I want to do in a bad way, but this weekend it all went out the window.
Saying that, I didn't drink at all yesterday, not even a wee dram, and I still woke up with a headache. I'm beginning to think I've got hay fever. Or I need my eyes tested.

Have you noticed alcoholism is the only disease you'll get shouted at for having?

I bought a packet of revels and a packet of minstrels this afternoon.

I swear chocolate revels are minstrels.
